Project Conditions:
Project site was located in a populated area of the Zoo. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic control was critical along with scheduling deliveries and removals to ensure area safety and maintain project schedule.

Description:
The Old Bird House at Astor Court project consisted of a 31,000 sq. ft. Historical renovation and addition. Exterior work consisted of selective removals, restoration and replacement of masonry, stonework, and terra-cotta figures, historical window replacement and steel curtain wall system, standing seam copper roofing, and skylights. Interior work consisted of structural and architectural finishes Inclusive of creating a new second floor level, architectural wood work, carpentry, and finishes. Site work included excavation, foundation support and underpinning, precast wall balustrades, architectural asphaltic pavers and site utilities.
